Make it stand out.
Here is the cross-section illustration of the spherical sand thermal storage system. The design now features a fully enclosed, box-shaped interior oven with no door and no additional structures inside. The walls of the oven are twice as thick. Surrounding this central chamber is a 1.5m thick layer of sand, directly in contact with the oven walls. Encasing the sand layer is a 20cm thick spherical layer of straw-clay bricks. The next concentric layer is 1m thick and made of rice husk ash. The outermost layer is 20cm of clay. The entire system is buried in the ground, with the bottom of the oven level with the ground for easy loading and unloading. The illustration shows a cross-section view, ensuring the oven is box-shaped with no empty spaces, highlighting the different layers and materials used for insulation. You can view the image above.
